The plane’s captain, Hushang Shahbazi, was forced to land the plane using its rear wheels after its nose gear failed to unfold.  The incident took place as the plane was landing after a flight from Moscow on October 18, 2011.  Some 94 passengers and 19 crew members were aboard.  Nobody was injured in the incident.
